Yes — every tool on ToolHiveHub is completely free to use. There are no subscriptions, premium tiers, hidden fees, or paywalls. We believe useful utilities should be accessible to everyone without barriers.

No account or sign-up is required. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — just open the page and start using it immediately. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information to access any tool.

Yes. All tools and pages are fully responsive and designed to work on smartphones, tablets, and desktop browsers. We test across modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

We add new tools regularly as we identify common everyday needs that aren't well served by existing free options. Our goal is to build a growing library — not a rushed one — so each tool we ship is polished and genuinely useful.

Our calculators use standard, well-established formulas. The BMI calculator uses the international WHO formula; the loan calculator uses the standard amortisation formula; the calorie calculator uses the Mifflin–St Jeor equation. Results are accurate for general reference. For medical, financial, or clinical decisions, always consult a qualified professional.

Enter your height and weight (in metric or imperial units) and the tool calculates your Body Mass Index using the formula BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height² (m²). The result is displayed alongside the standard WHO weight categories (Underweight, Normal, Overweight, Obese) so you can see where your result falls. BMI is a screening tool, not a diagnostic measure — factors like muscle mass and body composition aren't captured by it.

Enter the loan amount, annual interest rate, and loan term in months or years. The calculator uses the standard amortisation formula to compute your fixed monthly repayment, the total amount repaid over the loan term, and the total interest paid. This is useful for comparing personal loans, mortgages, or car finance options before speaking to a lender.

Once a tool page has loaded, most calculators run entirely in your browser with no further network requests. If you lose your connection mid-session the tool will keep working. However, tools that depend on live data (like currency rates) will require an active internet connection to fetch up-to-date figures.

No. All calculation and conversion logic runs locally in your browser. The values you type — your height, weight, loan amount, text content — are never sent to our servers and are never stored or logged. When you close or navigate away from a tool, that data is gone.

We use localStorage (not cookies) to remember your dark/light mode preference — no tracking data is stored there. If we display Google AdSense ads, those ads may set third-party cookies as governed by Google's privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We do not collect personal information directly. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general traffic patterns (e.g., which tools are most popular), but this data is aggregated and not tied to individual users. We will never sell your data to third parties.

Hosting, development, and ongoing maintenance have real costs. Ads allow us to keep every tool permanently free without charging users or restricting access. We aim to keep the ad experience unobtrusive — you'll never see pop-ups, auto-playing video ads, or interstitials that block tool usage.

If a tool isn't responding, try: (1) refreshing the page, (2) disabling any browser extensions that might block scripts, (3) switching to a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. No. The interactive functionality of every tool (calculations, conversions, real-time results) relies on vanilla JavaScript running in the browser. The page layout and content will still render, but tool inputs will not function without JS enabled.
